Hard Handles For Power & Control

Our goal with the Slingshot SlingWing V3 was to maximize power efficiency while reducing size. By using a smaller wing in the same wind, you can achieve higher speeds and greater control while minimizing weight and drag. The larger strut and leading-edge diameter create a rigid frame for executing big airs with extended hang time. Additionally, a taut canopy eliminates oscillation and flutter, resulting in improved luffing performance. The Slingshot One Pump Speed System simplifies inflation, and the added dump valve on the strut facilitates deflation and packing. The profile entry batten ensures smooth aerodynamic shaping where the inflatable leading edge meets the wing canopy, enhancing air flow efficiency. Our durable 4x4 Canopy Tech material, combined with Skate Scuff tough strips on the wingtips and leading edge, make the Slingshot SlingWing V3 resilient to the rigors of land and sea. Finally, like its predecessor, the V3 has harness-line attachment points for achieving higher speeds, better tack angles, and longer sessions.

Features:

  • Rigid handles for max control
  • Smaller wing for increased power efficiency
  • Larger strut and leading-edge for rigidity
  • One Pump Speed System for easy inflation
  • Durable 4x4 Canopy Tech material for withstanding tough conditions on land or sea."
  • Smooth and balanced feel

What advantages offer the hard handles on the new Slingshot Slingwing?

Hard handles offer several advantages over soft handles in wingsurfing:

  1. Better Grip: Hard handles provide a firmer grip, allowing the rider to have more control over the wing, especially in strong winds.

  2. Increased Durability: Hard handles are typically made of durable materials such as carbon fiber, which can withstand the wear and tear of frequent use.

  3. Better Feedback: Hard handles offer more feedback to the rider, allowing them to feel the wing's movement and adjust their technique accordingly.

  4. Improved Performance: Hard handles provide better stability, allowing the rider to execute more advanced maneuvers with greater precision and control.

Overall, hard handles are a great choice for serious wingsurfers who want maximum performance and control from their equipment. While soft handles may be more comfortable for casual riders, they simply can't match the durability, feedback, and performance of hard handles.
