KT Arc Board Review –

April 29, 2026

The Ultimate Parawing & Downwind Machine?

The KT Arc is one of the most exciting new foil boards right now — built for parawing, downwind foiling, and surf-style wingfoil riding.

This is not just another board. KT clearly designed the Arc as a next step beyond the Super K — more surfy, more playful, and more performance-oriented while still keeping enough efficiency to work in lighter conditions.

First Impression – Ultra Light & Premium Feel

First thing you notice: this board is insanely light. But at the same time, it doesn’t feel fragile at all. The Pro Carbon construction gives it a very solid, stiff feel, which translates directly into performance on the water.

The finish, deck pad, and overall build quality are top level — this is clearly a premium board.

---

Shape & Concept – Surf-Oriented Mid-Length

The KT Arc is best described as a mid-length surf foil board.

  • More width than the Super K
  • Thinner profile
  • More rocker (especially nose and tail)
  • Recessed cockpit deck

This combination gives the board a very unique feeling: stable when needed, but extremely loose and playful once you're on foil.

---

Take-Off & Low Wind Performance

The Arc is slightly more technical to get up compared to the Super K.

You don’t just stand and go — you need to pump the board together with your wing or parawing. But once you do, the board releases super clean and pops up surprisingly early.

Because of the rocker and bottom shape, the board doesn’t feel “sticky” — it actually helps you generate lift while pumping.

With decent technique, getting up in ~10–12 knots is totally possible.

---

Parawing & Downwind Performance

This is where the KT Arc really stands out.

The board is perfect for parawing riding:

  • Ride upwind efficiently
  • Stash the parawing
  • Ride downwind swell freely
  • Redeploy quickly when needed

The added length and width give you much more control during transitions compared to smaller boards, especially in messy water.

For downwind foiling, the glide and release make it easy to connect bumps while still keeping a very surfy feel.

---

On-Water Feel – Balanced & Intuitive

One of the biggest highlights is how natural the board feels.

  • Very easy to find your stance
  • Super balanced under your feet
  • Feels smaller than it actually is

Once you're in position, the board almost disappears under you — which is exactly what you want for carving and wave riding.

The narrower stance also helps a lot with control and turning.

---

Arc vs Super K

Super K:

  • Easier take-off
  • More “plug & play”
  • More forgiving

Arc:

  • More performance
  • More surf feeling
  • Better for waves & parawing
  • More efficient once riding

If you want maximum performance and a surf-style feel → Arc wins.

---

Sizing Advice

You can generally size down compared to your normal board.

Because of the extra length and width, the board keeps stability even at lower volumes.

  • Example: riding 90–95L → you can go ~65–75L

This makes it a strong option as a one-board quiver.

---

Price & Value

This is a premium board, around:

  • €2300 – €2600

Not cheap — but you get:

  • Top construction
  • Ultra light weight
  • High-end performance

If you're looking for one board that does everything, it can actually replace multiple boards.

---

Final Verdict

The KT Arc is one of the best all-around performance foil boards available right now.

It combines:

  • Parawing capability
  • Downwind efficiency
  • Wave performance
  • Premium construction

Only downside? The price.

Everything else — KT absolutely nailed it.

Who Is It For?

  • Parawing riders
  • Downwind foilers
  • Wave-focused wingfoilers
  • Intermediate to advanced riders
  • Anyone looking for a one-board quiver
