Design & performance
The Downwinder Slim SLS is shaped around a long, narrow outline with a low rocker and a slim pin-tail to maximize speed and acceleration in open-ocean swell. A clean bottom concept with a single concave in the front improves recovery when the board touches down, while pronounced rail bevels and harder edges enhance release and stability.
A lightly recessed deck creates a more direct connection to the foil, improving control in turns and at higher speeds. The extended carbon foil tracks offer a wider tuning range and help reduce overall weight—ideal for dialing in your stance and foil position for downwind efficiency.
